Look for playlists from WEMU, our longtime, superb Jazz and Blues Public Radio Station from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti MIchigan, the next town East of Ann Arbor. Unlike another Public station in the area, WEMU has understood the vital role they play for our music community and continue to be a crucial force in fostering our excellent Jazz /Live music community in SE Michigan. They are expanding their music mix and have web radio with alternative programming focusing on Americana and Roots music.

Ann Arbor Radio scored big when they hired respected, longtime Detroit Public Radio Host, Martin Bandyke. They are very involved with the community- supporting many local non-profit groups, notably (but not limited to) The Ark, The Ann Arbor Film Festival and Food Gatherers. They're as good a community member as their public radio station counterparts. Ann Arbor is lucky to have them-

We'll post their weekly playlist plus the occasional lists from individual on air hosts like Martin Bandyke, Mark Copey, Chris Amel and John Bonorito .
