CCL have evolved into a first rate bluegrass informed roots band. If you don't require a trad bluegrass sound you should enjoy the excellent songwriting and instrumentation by one of the better young bands that have absorbed the tradition while branching out. Nothing wrong with either approach if you are expressing yourself honestly.
